Flue gas desulphurisation (FGD)

 

The power plants of our customers are often equipped with flue gas desulphurisations (FGD). This makes the power plant operator to a important contributor in minimising emissions. The flue gas treatment is aiming primarily at minimizing the emission of sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and dust.

 

 Back in 1980, Juffern began the complicated construction management of FGD-plants. Because of our worldwide activity on various plants, we were able to acquire a broadly based know-how.

 

FGD-plants are still a major procedural innovation. Today, the pollutants from power plants just have a little chance to escape into the environment. In collaboration with our customers, we are implementing existing and new process technologies.
